Description of Conference: The twoday symposium is the ninth in a series of annual programs offering a realistic view of controversial topics and advances in valvular surgery, percutaneous valve repair and replacement, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, drug eluting stents, carotid surgery and coronary artery disease. A faculty of leaders in the field has been invited to share their knowledge and experiences of complex and controversial cases. The conference is designed for cardiologists, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, perfusionists, ICU nurses, technicians and those involved in the diagnosis, treatment and care of individuals with controversial and complex cases of cardiac disease. The format will consist of twelve sessions focused on treatment options of heart disease. Each session will include faculty presentations along with moderated discussion periods.
