Description of Conference: Expo Aero Brasil - International Fair of Aeronautics, appeared in 1997, in the Sorocaba city –São Paulo state and, after 10 editions, it was transferred to the Aerospace Technology General Command
- CTA, in the city of São José dos Campos, headquarters of the largest aeronautical industries and the about 80 kilometers distance from São Paulo city.
In its last edition, happened between July 02 and 05, 2009, EAB 2009 counted with the participation of 151 exhibitors companies, representing more than 350 companies of 18 countries, resulting in more than US$ 32 million dollars of purchasing intention.
With a territory of 8.5 million square kilometers and a population of more than 180 million inhabitants, Brazil counts with the air transport as one of the main tools for the maintenance of its development, integration and economical support.
Expo Aero Brasil is today one of the ten larger civil aviation fairs in the world and the largest - Civil Aviation - in Latin America; it is the only fair that gathers exhibitors of all of the aeronautical segments, with the participation of the most important national and international companies of the sector.
