Description of Conference: The inaugural SMM Istanbul saw more than 4,000 visitors attending the 3 days of the exhibition – 93 % of whom were trade visitors with 42 % coming from 66 countries outside of Turkey.
Most overseas visitors came from the EU region, with Germany, the UK, Greece and Italy being especially well represented, Iran and Kuwait also accounting for a significant number of overseas trade visitors.
With the interest already shown and an added optimism in the sector, we fully expect to see even more exhibitors and visitors from the EU and Middle Eastern regions at SMM Istanbul 2011.
