Description of Conference: USA Rail 2009 was very well-received by conference attendees. With a delegation of 129 at this inaugural event, the conference established itself as the gathering place for passenger, freight and high speed rail across the US & Canada. The program discussed financing and funding, capacity management and environmental issues and an in-depth discussion on the development of high speed rail corridors across the US.
