Description of Conference: ASIAN-PACIFIC AQUACULTURE 2011 (APA 2011) is the first ever conference organized by World Aquaculture Society (WAS) in India. APA2011 is the annual conference & Trade Exhibition of the Asia Pacific Chapter of WAS (WAS-APC), which will be held at Kochi during 17 – 20 January 2011. Together with APA 2011, an exclusive Conference on freshwater prawns, GIANT PRAWN 2011 (GP 2011) will also be held, which will be a landmark event in the history of freshwater prawn farming research and development, similar to the meeting called Giant Prawn 1980, held in Bangkok 30 years ago.
